Foxit Product Improvement Program
Foxit product improvement program help our customers get more efficient, more comfortable, and more user-friendly products.
It collects information anonymously and customers can choose to participate or not.
(1) What information does Foxit product collect?
(a)Information about your computer: operating system, browser type and
version, processor, memory installed, and similar information;
(b)Information about how you use Foxit product. This may include
version, language, status, how frequently you launch programs, the
features that you use the most often and other related information;
(2) Using the information
Information collected will be used to develop new features and improve Foxit Product.
(3) How does it work?
When you choose to participate the improvement program, Foxit will
collect your usage data anonymously. Every time you open a Foxit
product, Foxit will send the information about how you used the
product last time. If you keep a Foxit product open for a long time,
information may also be sent automatically.
If you have not connected to the Internet, these information will be sent next time when you connect to the Internet.
None of these information would expose your identity.
(4) Participate and Quit
You will be presented with a dialog box asking if you would like to
participate in the program when you first open Foxit. And you can
also allow the program by check "Join Foxit Product Improvement Program"
in Foxit settings.
To stop participating, uncheck "Join Foxit Product Improvement Program" in Foxit settings.
(5) Security
Foxit store all these information on our secure servers. And we
take reasonable technical and precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or
alteration of the information.
Information over the internet is inherently insecure, but since the data
is anonymous, your information is meaningless for anyone else.
(6) Changes to this Statement
Foxit Software Inc. may occasionally update this statement. We encourage
you to periodically review this privacy statement to stay informed
about how we are helping to protect the information we collect.
